I'm a Chicago girl at heart, so when I think of New York pizza I automaticly think yuck. But this pizza is amazing. The sauce is great, they use wonderful quality cheese. The reviews were mixed so I was worried, but I have no idea what they had happen that they disliked the food. I have ordered from them 3 times now and each time it was great. The lemon cucumber salad could be a little better but that's just because its so plain. I recomend this place the lady who delivered was very friendly, I will be ordering many more times in the future.

I live in an area where there are not too many mom and pop sandwich shops around, unfortunately. I have been ordering Vinny's Pizza for awhile now and it seems to be getting worse. Food seems carelessly thrown together. Orders are really weak and skimpy (lots of bread on a sandwich). The 'calling in an order' experience is not great either - people who answer the phone often do not know where they deliver to - not super friendly either. I will continue to order from Vinny's bc I do not like Domino's and pizza chains like that but it has taken a turn for the worse and the prices, although affordable, are starting to seem like too much. Pick it up Vinny's, so much potential!

Ever since moving to South Carolina, I have driven past this shopping center several times, but sadly, have never stopped in to explore! However, on this gloomy Wednesday, my husband called me on his way home to work and said those magical words every hungry wife with nothing made for dinner wants to hear...."let's go out for pizza." No sooner had those words slipped from his lips that I was instantly on my phone, in search for the best local pizza place, as everybody knows those are always better than chains. (sorry papa john!) haha. As we are staying at the KOA Campground, I loved how Vinny's Pizza was conveniently located (as my husband can't find his way out of a paper bag, even if it were cut open at both ends) haha. Upon walking in, you're instantly transported to Long Island, NY, where the pizza pies are large and the slices....foldable. The smell of tomato and mozzarella seduce your sense of smell, causing your mouth to water in anticipation for its first real bite of real New York pizza pie. We were NOT disappointed. For only $24, we ordered an 18" Crowfield pizza, 1/2 dozen garlic knots, and two fountain beverages. The ingredients were beyond fresh, surpassed only by the personality of the owners. Now if you'll excuse me....I'm going to go grab a cold piece of pizza. ;)

Not a lot to say about the locale, but the place was very clean and pleasant. Pizza was real NY style which we loved. Our simple order was just a quick pizza to go.

After spending 17 combined years living in the pizza deserts of Macon and Savannah Georgia, I found the best pizza since I moved from Pennsylvania. Fantastic. I've missed pizza so much over the years and this place is my cure!

Edible is the only reason I give 2 stars. They don't deliver to base which I thought was unfortunate until I tasted it. Food is extremely over priced, produce is not fresh. The canned mushrooms on the veggie pizza is awkward and rubbery. The SCARCE amount of toppings on the pizza was the first thing I noticed. We ordered an extra large vegetarian pizza and there weren't even enough toppings for a personal pizza. Garlic knots are $5 for a dozen and they were burnt and the smaller than donut holes. I only tried because of the only other review at the time, must be an employee or owner. I won't be ordering from here again.

Really love the first location. Ordered pizza often and never had a bad pie. However, the second location has yet to deliver a decent pizza. Last four we ordered were horrible. They were either too doughy, undercooked, the cheese was not completely melted, or the dough was stretched too far and couldn't hold the pizza.

Moving day is a pain. We just moved to Goose Creek from Palmdale, CA. I was tired, hungry, and in no shape to either cook or " go out" for dinner. So I YELPED pizza delivery and Vinny's had some good reviews. I called them and ordered a pizza. The girl who took my order was very nice and efficient. Since I told her I was new to the area she offered to include a tobgo menu with the delivery. It was delivered in about 20 minutes time piping hot and perfectly cooked. It is a Brooklyn Style Pizza. The dough, sauce, cheese, and toppings were all very good quality, and we really enjoyed the pizza. I'll be calling Vinny's regularly for all my pizza deliveries.

We have driven by this place several times since it opened and decided to give it a go for lunch. We ordered a half pepperoni/half cheese 16" and half dozen garlic knots. Overall we were very happy with the pizza. Although it is a chewy style pizza (I'm a fan of crispy pizza) it had great flavor. We really enjoyed it and will definitely go back.

Never ate their food but called to place an order and see if they were hiring and the guy was really rude. I ended up not ordering and hanging up on him which isn't like me at all.

The food is delicious but to wait an hour to and hour and a half for a cheese pizza is less than my cup of tea.

This is some great pizza here. My wife had just come back from NYC and was wanting some good pizza that was close to home. We tried this place out and we were very happy with our order. It's now our place to go for Pizza, especially with it being so close to home. Wings are decent too.

Garlic knots are my favorite. The pizza is ok. The last one we got was short big-time on toppings. I usually throw mine in the toaster oven to give the bottom crust a little bit of crispness. Nice to get Pizza here every now and then.

We went in and placed a take out order and the staff was very helpful. The pizza was the best in the area. Their crust was perfect, and so many topping to choose from. Next time we would enjoy eating in the restaurant. My only complaint is they do not off beer or wine, and pizza just tastes better with a good glass of chianti. When in Goose Creek we will visit this establishment again.

Not impressed, the pizza was ok the Italian sub was a joke. The bread was stale and there was very little meat and to much salad dressing on it. I could have gotten a better sub at Bi Lo won't be going back again

First timer to Vinny's Pizza and I must say that I was impressed by the service, pizza and ingredients. I ordered take out so once we got home i tasted the pie and everything was fresh and tasted amazing. that was after the car ride home that almost made me want to pull over and eat. I will definitely be coming back to Vinny's. The garlic knots are a HIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good pizza close to home. Not bad take on New York style pizza.

I guess I had high expectations. Its nothing exceptional, but its at least a step above Little Caesar's. We ordered 2 pizzas: pepperoni/mushroom and sausage /mushroom. I didnt like the canned mushrooms because they had a rubbery texture and flat taste, like all the mushroom flavor had been extracted into the canning liquid. The crust was missing the slight crisp that a good pizza has. It was chewy. The sauce had a good spicy taste, though. Greasy pizza that teenagers would love.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
